Ecoprinting is a printing technique where plants leave their mark on fabric through a process of mordanting, bundling and steaming.  Each bundle is a magical surprise.  Not every plant prints and the mordants can change the color and quality of the prints.  It's an addictive artform and I am completly hooked!  -Ritu

This table runner is made of 100% silk noil.  You can machine wash this piece using a delicate soap or shampoo.  

The plants used to print this piece are: Sumac, Acer, Dogwood, Peony, Oak, Sycamore, Tulip Tree and Castor Bean.
