This deck features 13 individuals who contributed to children's literature and can be used to play the original Authors card game as well as ordinary card games, having the markings and dimensions of standard-sized playing cards (2.25" x 3.5"). The Authors game involves building sets of 4 works by each author by drafting and by "Go Fish" style request; the original game dated back to 1861.
